Would You Rather Tag

As I mentioned before this is my new blog in English. Normally I have some blogs in Turkish. In Turkish blogosphere sometimes we are playing tag games (posts) with our blogs. This will be mine first tagging post in this blog. No one tagged me however I saw Geraldine's post and I wanted to post about this.

  • Answer the questions given to you by your nominator
  • Make up your own questions and tag others!

The Questions Which Are Asked By Geraldine:

  • Would you rather have the ability to fly or breathe underwater?
I would rather have the ability to fly. With this ability I could see more places around the world I think. I could visit also my blogger friends. :)
  • Would you rather live alone forever surrounded by all the books you can read or surrounded by (tame) animals?
I would rather live alone forever surrounded by all the books because I am afraid of even tame animals. When I was a kid, I was biten by dogs 3 times and chased by a cock 1 time. So I am afraid of them even I know they are not dangerous in fact. It is psychological.
  • Would you rather have big feet or big hands?
I would rather have big hands since if I have big feet I can not find suitable shoes for myself.
  • Would you rather drink coffee or tea for the rest of your life?
I would rather drink tea for the rest of my life; because I don't like coffee more. I am a Turkish man however I am not a big fan of Turkish coffee. Tea is better for me!
  • Would you rather be hairless (and I mean hairless, including your eyelashes and eyebrows) or very hairy?
I would rather be hairless but not including eyelashes and eyebrows. :) I told everyone near me that I don't like the hair on my head. I wish I was a bald man.
  • Would you rather have unlimited sushi for life or unlimited tacos for life?
In real I would rather another Turkish food however I am going to obey the rules of the tag and I would choose one of both. It is unlimited tacos. I didn't try sushi yet and I will not try anymore. I can not eat uncooked fish.
  • Would you rather know when you are going to die or how you are going to die? (You can’t change the time or method of your death)
I would rather know when I am going to die. No comment. :)
  • Would you rather be permanently live 500 years in the future or 500 years in the past?
I would rather be permanently live 500 years in the past so I could live in the era of Ottoman Empire.
  • Would you rather get 1 free round trip international plane ticket every year or be able to fly domestic anytime for free?
I woud rather get 1 free round trip international plane ticket every year. I want to discover new countries and new people around the world.
  • Would you rather be toothless or go bald?
I would rather go bald. I already answered this before. I don't like my hairs. If you want to see them please check my blog post which is in Turkish.

My Questions For You:

  1. Would you rather get paid for playing sports or video games? Why?
  2. Would you rather speak Chinese or Spanish? Why?
  3. Would you rather lick a dirty trash can or the batroom floor? Why?
  4. Would you rather be a ninja or a pirate? Why?
  5. Would you rather tell someone your darkest secret or get embarrased on national television? Why?
  6. Would you rather be a professional athlete or famous actor? Why?
  7. Would you rather be in a car accident that kills only you or be responsible for a car accident where you live but your five closest friends and family die? Why?
  8. Would you rather go to prison or eat a dog? Why?
  9. Would you rather be bit by a bat with rabies or be bit by a poisonous spider? Why?
  10. Would you rather run fast or run far? Why?

The Kids Are Amazing!

I have a kid also. He is 4 years old. Yesterday he finished his first term at school and he took his first report card. Everything is OK with his report card. Today he and his mother went to our home town Afyonkarahisar by bus for his holiday.

I said the kids are amazing in the title. Yes they are. They have very logical answers. I saw a post in Facebook and it made me laugh. I wanted to share it with you to make you laugh.

I want to add some funny dialogues also.

Reporter makes a news about World Milk Day and asking a question to a little girl:

R: Do you drink milk?
G: Yesss
R: What happened when you drink milk?
G: I am peeing. :)

Ali is 3 years old.

Mother: Look, this is a olive tree!
Ali: Ok, then which one is cheese tree?

Umut, 4 years old.

Policeman: What is your name?
Umut: I won't tell!
Policeman: But why? I am a police uncle of you!
Umut: I never tell then! :)

Merih is 5 years old; Başar is 4 years old!

Merih: I saw a scary dream that monsters were eating my sister.
Başar: I saw scariest one that the monsters were eating my mom, my dad, my grandmother, my grandfather, my brother and the grocer!
Merih: You are lying! Monsters don't eat the grandmoms and granddads, they don't eat grocers too!

There are too many funny dialogues which I came across. Do you know any dialogs like this with kids? Please share them with us.

Plastic Bags Are Not Free!

In Turkey plastic bags were free before this year however starting from January 1, 2019 they are sold for 0,25₺ (Turkish Liras). Everyone started to talk about this banning. Some people thought this is a good idea for our environment and some people said 0,25₺ is so high for a plastic bag which has logo of the seller on itself.

In Turkey minimum wage will be 2.020,00₺ (I used "will be" because no one gained this money yet. They will get this money starting from February.) So one man who gains minimum wage can buy 8080 pcs plastic bags. What about this in your country? Are you also paying for plastic bags in shopping centers, supermarkets, pharmacies etc?

We bought some biodegradable bags to put our goods and not to pay money for plastic bags. We are taking them with us when we are going to the supermarket.

Some people started to protest this banning and they returned the plastic bags after they used them and took their money back. There was one man who protested this with a donkey.

Some people also started to take their goods with a barrow to protest against the government.

I think these protests will finish within several months because people will get used to this banning. I am supporting this banning however I don't think that this banning will be useful for environment. You need to ban the usage of plastic bags crisply! You don't try to sell them with money to decrease the usage!

Are you also paying money for plastic bags in your country? How much money are you paying? Please share your comments with us!

When Did You Marry?

I was 23 years old when I married. I married in early age because my mom wanted to see my marriage; she was ill; she was rectum cancer and she knew that she was going to die! So I married when I finished my university to make my mom happy!

I was also happy because I married the girl who I already loved. She was loving me also. We married in a date which is easy to remember: 11.11.11 :) Now we have a 4 years old son. Nowadays we are thinking about the second child.

I saw a graphic which shows the average ages of the women of Europe when they make their first marriage. You can see from that graphic that the Scandinavian women are waiting their 30s to find the true men! It is also same for the countries which are in West side of Europe. But when you come to the Balkans the first marriage age is getting under 30s.

In my country, Turkey, it is approximately 24,7 for women according to this graphic. I think it is about 26-27 for men. What about you and your country? Are you married? If you are married how old was you when you married? Please comment below!

PS: Sorry for my mistakes in grammer. I am not using English more than 5 years. So I am starting to forget it. I opened this blog to keep it alive! Thanks for reading and comments!

Hello World!

New year, new blog! Hello all!

I am Recep Hilmi from Turkey. I am writing blogs for over 10 years however I deleted the first ones. Now I am writing in rehitu.com in Turkish since 14 February 2016.

I want to keep this blog in English. My main goal is at least writing one time in a week. I have secondary blogs and pages also. I am an active social media user however I can not find enough time to do it!

I am working for a company which sells engineering adhesives and technical sprays. I am a regional sales specialist. I am married since 11.11.11. I have a son who was born in 10.11.14. :)

My English is not perfect so please kindly warn me if you find a mistake.

See you later! Take care of yourself always...
